Every recommendation here comes from a rule we can point at and change. If one looks wrong to you, say so and we will look at the rule behind it. If you just want to know why we suggest something, ask.

What is this about?

If it is about a specific recommendation, the species, technique and bait you chose will help us find the rule.

So we can reply. We use it for that and nothing else, and we do not send anything you did not ask for.

Before you write

Two things that are already known, so you do not spend time on them:

Recommendations are ranges, not settings. If our range overlaps what you would use, we are probably both right. How they are built.
We do not track regulations by location. Every regulatory note points at the responsible agency on purpose. Why.

What happens to your message

It is stored so it cannot be lost, and emailed to the person who maintains the data.
Your email address is used to reply to you and nothing else.
Nothing you send is published on the site. See privacy.
